The Candelaria is a bomb vessel styled as a brigantine but broader, with two masts: a mainmast, nearly centrally positioned, featuring square rigging, and a smaller mizzenmast with a gaff sail. Between the mainmast and the forecastle, the mortars are placed.
The Candelaria was designed as a floating battery for use during sieges of harbors or coastal fortifications.
This model is a faithful replica of the original ship.
